Hello everyone,
I’m a bit late with this month’s release but I can assure you it was all worth it. What can I say, this release is definitely one of my favourite ones. The concept, the selections, the artwork, the guest mix… everything about it I’m very well pleased and proud of.
‘Be Angeled’ is a two parts mix delivering some of the latest forward-thinking productions in melodic and progressive Trance music along with a special guest mix from a very well respected DJ and producer in the industry. And it couldn’t be at a better timing with the sun now shining and the 2009 summer season about to start.

A one hour mix of ten very melodic productions with a progressive vibe and enough vocals to deliver you a fresh and captivating divine journey. ‘Be Angeled’ – Part 02 – Guest mix by DJ Eco
This month’s guest mix is from one talanted DJ and Producer who’s latest work has been on the top 10 charts of many famous DJs around the globe. I too have been a big fan of his work and I’m very grateful that he managed to spent some time from his busy schedule to make an exclusive guest mix for HighGlow Music.
American producer DJ Eco has put out a range of tunes from 2008’s “Tonight Is Forever”, 2007’s “Light At The End”, and his most recent tunes “Lost Angeles” and “American Blues”. Heavily supported by the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, among many others, his signature style of emotional melody-driven trance has been quickly on the rise. One of the breakthrough producers of 2008/2009, he has joined the ranks of a rising group of young rebelling producers by putting out forward-thinking progressive trance music.
His guest mix is an energetic and melodic blend of Trance music, defining Eco’s unique style and including some exclusive releases of his own productions. I thank DJ Eco for such a great mix and I hope you all enjoy his music as much as I do.

Holy crap… these sets made me shiver but in a good way. They remind me of some of the more powerful mixes you produced during your “Uplifting Selections” days and i think you are definitely right when you say these are your favourite. They are mine now too .
What i like particularly about this is that both your mix and Eco’s are of similar vibes. They practically flow on from each other. That, my friend is magic and is such a refreshing change from your last few where you got guest mixes that have two distinctive musical directives. Its ok to have two directives so long as they fit a theme. Here you wanted melodic and progressive trance and boy did you deliver.
This was just so powerful, rich, driving and deep. All great attributes of a truly captivating session of trance. My hat goes off to you sir. Absolutely bloody fantastic job.

wow… thanks for such comments!! I’m really glad you enjoyed the set that much.
And I couldn’t agree with you more. I try and direct each guest mix to go along with my themes and how I’m taking my own sets, just so both mixes will have a connection. But obviously every DJ has certain style and is not easy to have both mixes to match.
In this case I think the collaboration was spot on and has raced the bar in terms of quality for my future sets. So I do hope I will get to deliver this kind of quality again in the future.
